Starting at $550 per syringe
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body. In cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is synthesized to help increase volume in your lips, cheeks, temples, nose or other areas of concern.
One Week Before Injections:
Avoid over-the-counter blood thinning and anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve.
Avoid supplements, including St. John's Wort, Gingko Biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.
Two Days Before Injections:
Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any "anti-aging" products.
Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
You may start taking Arnica two days before the procedure. (This is not required, but it will help lessen bruising). I will also apply a topical Arnica after the procedure to help with bruising and it soothes the area of injection.
Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before and 48 hours after- this helps reduce bruising and inflammation.
Please arrive to your appointment on time and with a clean face. If you are coming from work, an appointment, school or any other miscellaneous activity, do not worry; I will cleanse your face for you.
If it is your first appointment with me, it will take approximately 45 minutes to one hour. We will discuss your health history, review medications, and make a treatment plan together. During this time, I discuss filler safety with you and allow you to have any questions answered. Once satisfied, we will do before photos. These photos will not be shared on social media (unless jointly agreed upon), and are only for the purpose of your chart and tracking results.
Next, you will sign a consent and then, if necessary, we will have a video call with my medical director. Sharing your information with my medical director is required by law, as anyone receiving any medications or injections needs to be under the direction of a physician or nurse practitioner. The call is very quick, and suggestions or recommendations for your treatment plan will be discussed.
After the call, I will clean your face twice and proceed with a numbing agent for comfort, or begin the injections if no numbing is required. I may separate the discussed dose into a few needles, depending on how much filler you get. I do this to keep track of each injection point, especially since I enjoy small talk and continue to answer questions or engage in educational discussions while injecting. Also, by changing needles, pain is decreased and the risk of infection is reduced.
Your appointment will take approximately 30-45 minutes if you are returning. We will talk about any changes to your health or treatment plan. We do not have to have a second call with my medical director unless your health, medications, or service being provided have changed.
After the injections are complete, if required, I will massage the area with Arnica cream, rewash your face, and review post-care instructions. We will complete with an after photo, again only for the purpose of my documentation of the procedure.
It is optional to apply an ice pack and Arnica topically. Also, Arnica + Bromelain tablets are natural supplements that can be taken to reduce bruising. If you would like an ice pack to go, one will be given to you at no cost.
If necessary, take acetaminophen to reduce pain.
Avoid itching, picking, or touching around the injection site.
It is normal to have lumps, bumps, swelling and bruising. These generally disappear within a few hours to a few days. Gentle massaging is often necessary. I will teach you appropriate techniques or you can return to me to massage for you. If these symptoms last more than 3 days, please contact me.
Sunscreen and makeup can be applied, and you may use a gentle cleanser on the area after a few hours.
Please note that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
If you have previously suffered from cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures will contribute to an exacerbation of cold sores.
Dermal fillers cannot be done if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any ingredients or suffer from neurological disorders. Please inform us on your intake sheet, and if you have any questions about this prior to your treatment.

While less common, you should be aware of the following side effects:
Tips to Reduce Swelling After Injections:
Until the swelling and redness have resolved, usually 48 hours, avoid intense heat in the treated area. This includes sunbathing, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, or hot wax. To help alleviate swelling, it is recommended to take an antihistamine during the day, such as Zyrtec or Claritin, and Benadryl at night. If there is a visible bump, you can massage the area or return to the clinic to have it massaged for you. Depending on the areas treated and the product used, you may feel "firmness." These areas will soften and settle with time (usually 1-2 weeks). As mentioned, apply ice as needed.
Tips to Reduce Bruising After Fillers:
Avoid drinking alcohol or partaking in strenuous exercise, as it may result in additional bruising. To help alleviate bruising, it is recommended to take Arnica or Bromelain, eat fresh pineapple, and apply ice to the area.

Fillers are generally safe and should only be performed by a licensed and trained professional. It is strongly recommended to check the qualifications of your injector before proceeding with fillers.
Although all precautions are taken to avoid this occurrence, occlusions happen, even for very skilled and seasoned injectors.
First, do not panic. Your injector will give you aspirin, and begin to flood the affected area with the antidote for hyaluronic acid, hyaluronidase. The filler will dissolve and so will some of your body's own hyaluronic acid, which in time will restore itself. This process will be repeated until the occlusion has resolved. In some instances, a trip to the Emergency Department is warranted.
*You will be required to pay for the syringe. You will not be required to pay for the reversal agent.
NO! Please never ever ever purchase fillers online or on the black market. These fillers are known to be unsafe, unsterile and contain substances that should never be injected into the body, such as hair jell.
Fillers and overhead for a medical spa are extremely expensive. I pride myself on fairness and respect for the industry. Therefore, my prices are offered at very fair and competitive rates. However, you will always save when bundling services and I always give a few discounts when you bring friends with you to your appointment or have them book with me. Just ask!!
In the meantime, check out the Specials page for savings and discounts!
You will still be required to pay for the syringe used because as discussed in the consultation and in the consent, results are not guaranteed. Also, it often takes several treatments as well as a few weeks for cosmetic treatments to settle. Therefore, I ask for each client to wait out the two week. If at that point you are still unhappy, we can either add to your treatment or I will dissolve it. Dissolving will be at no cost to you up until 3 months after your treatment.
